Lead Finish Carpenter
Summary of Role:
- A lead carpenter is responsible for all finish related work. This position’s scope of work will begin once the drywall phase of a project concludes. The lead carpenter will report to the project manager and own the quality of the flooring, cabinetry, millwork, and tile installations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Finish Carpentry
- Tile (not required)?
- Install cabinetry
- Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite.
- Miscellaneous carpentry/framing tasks
- Install Flooring and cabinets
- Review subcontractor work for quality and adherence to plan
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Material runs
- Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
- Miscellaneous tasks to assist sub-trades
Education/Experience:
- GED or equivalent preferred
- Ability to operate machinery (skid loader, telehandler, boom lift)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on feet for long periods of time
- 2+ years construction related experience
Pay Range:
- $20-28 hourly + regular overtime opportunities
