Lead Finish Carpenter

Summary of Role:

  • A lead carpenter is responsible for all finish related work. This position’s scope of work will begin once the drywall phase of a project concludes. The lead carpenter will report to the project manager and own the quality of the flooring, cabinetry, millwork, and tile installations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Finish Carpentry
  • Tile (not required)?
  • Install cabinetry
  • Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite.
  • Miscellaneous carpentry/framing tasks
  • Install Flooring and cabinets
  • Review subcontractor work for quality and adherence to plan

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Material runs
  • Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
  • Miscellaneous tasks to assist sub-trades

Education/Experience:

  • GED or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to operate machinery (skid loader, telehandler, boom lift)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on feet for long periods of time
  • 2+ years construction related experience

Pay Range:

  • $20-28 hourly + regular overtime opportunities
